Clockwork is a domain, hosting, billing and client-support service operated by Garaj Pty Ltd (“Garaj”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy applies when you use clockwork.net.au, the Clockwork Android app, the Clockwork client portal and related services.

Information we collect. We may collect account details such as your name, email address and authentication information; business and contact details such as company name, ABN, phone number and billing address; domain registrant information required by registries; orders, invoices, account credit, payment status and purchase history; domains, hosting services, DNS records and email-hosting details you manage; support requests and messages; and basic technical and security information needed to operate, protect and troubleshoot the service.

Payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe. Clockwork does not store complete card numbers or card security codes.

How we use information. We use information to create and authenticate accounts; register, transfer and manage domains; provision hosting and email services; process orders and payments; maintain billing records and account credit; provide customer support; send service communications; prevent fraud and abuse; improve reliability; and meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

When information is shared. We share information only as needed to provide Clockwork, including with Supabase for authentication and data hosting, Stripe for payment processing, domain registries and registrar providers for registration and transfer services, hosting and email infrastructure providers, and service providers that help us operate support and communications. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect users, Clockwork or the public. We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party advertising.

Cookies and technical information. Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, preferences and aggregate usage analysis. You can configure your browser to limit cookies, although parts of the website may not work correctly.

Security. Information is encrypted in transit. We use access controls, authentication, least-privilege service credentials and operational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we review our safeguards as the service evolves.

Retention and deletion. We retain account and service information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide purchased services. After a verified deletion request, we delete or de-identify the Clockwork account and associated personal information that is no longer required. We may retain limited order, invoice, payment, fraud-prevention and transaction records where required for legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution or security purposes. Those records are restricted to those purposes and removed when the applicable retention period ends.

You can request account deletion in the Android app under Settings → Privacy & Account, or use the Clockwork account deletion page if you no longer have the app.

Your choices and rights. You may access or update profile information in Clockwork settings. You may also ask us to access, correct or delete personal information, subject to lawful retention requirements. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.

Children. Clockwork is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy. We may update this policy to reflect changes to Clockwork, our providers or legal requirements. The updated date above shows when it was last revised.
